It was an important issue for the architects to understand yet to steer away and progress on from the current korean columbariums culture that has what the architects believe ‘lost its spiritualness and evolved into somewhat of an over commercialised spaces due to its huge business opportunities'.

This complex issue of over commercialized columbarium as a business and its direct relation to architecture became the main focus for the architects on defining the new identity of this columbarium where as this being a miniature columbarium with small scale business operations it had potential to set aside from mega columbarium to provide a very private and bespoke exclusive services to cater for the families. Architecturally providing a spiritual environment and bespoke exclusive special experience through out.

Working with the pre constructed rectangular structural shell, the architects saw the front facing facade as the most crucial point of interaction with customers. It is where first impression view of the building, entry and exiting, corridor experience had to be all achieved with this single facade. These multiple facade interactions were categorized into 5 sequences and the architect designed a diagonally positioned 3dimensional facade that gave different experiences according to each interactional sequence.
